Role Overview


The Application Support Specialist will provide technical and functional support for Odoo ERP.

It will also validate that testing results are acceptable and meet the business requirements on all different aspects of the solution, both functionally and technically, according to the pre-defined performance levels and overall quality criteria.


Description


Responsible for keeping Odoo system users productive by ensuring the system is operating smoothly. When something goes wrong, this individual is responsible for getting the users back to being productive as quickly as possible.


Typically the Support Engineer will work with the Internal staff but could also provide answers to specific product functionality questions.

To validate that testing results are acceptable and meet the Business requirements on all different aspects of the solution, both functionally and technically, according to the pre-defined performance levels and overall quality criteria.

Functional/Technical Skills

  • Experience in the area of Quality Management
  • Knowledge about technical aspects of Odoo
  • Business process understanding
  • Basic understanding of Odoo technology stack
  • Understanding of key independent service providers within the defined vertical (e.g., Standalone HR system)
  • Understanding of integration and interfaces of Odoo to other applications
  • Understands and follows development Quality Management good practices and ensures that modifications are documented
  • One Year Experience as Odoo Consultant At least
